The original Genki opened its doors back in 1996, a week before the Olympics launched from Atlanta.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Buckhead just north of the famous Roxy Theatre. Buckhead location diners can sit out on the award winning Genki patio and experience some of Atlanta’s best people watching while enjoying delicious sushi and cocktails. Dining at the sushi bar is also a great way to enhance your Genki experience. Watching our talented sushi chef’s work their magic while creating your meal is always a crowd pleaser. Private dining is also available in our downstairs dining room which features its own bar and enough room to host nearly 50 people.

The Sandy Springs location opened its doors in October of 2009 at the Prado Shopping Center just inside the perimeter at Roswell Road and I-285.

This restaurant mirrors the Buckhead location in regards to the menu, wine list and comforting themes. As for the look, well the Prado restaurant features a state of the art jellyfish tank that is filled with Pacific Sea Nettle jellies that are out of this world. Diners are entranced by these amazing creatures, it trully feels like the Georgia Aquarium when dining at the Prado.
